Behind the Scenes
Recently our team size has tripled from one to three! That's triple the amount of passion for building world class developer tools. What this means for our customers is increased support and more frequent feature releases. Some of these features will be highlighted further below and you have probably already noticed an increase in outreach and engagement via email, Linkedin, Twitter and our blog.
Free for Private Repos
Being a startup ourselves we have had to onboard a lot of tools to get the engine running. Those tools usually took one of two forms, ones that aligned specifically with a startup's needs (low cost, small team support) or were expensive and geared for larger teams. Naturally, we found we liked the tools that worked with what we were trying to do and seemed like they wanted to grow with us. Then we looked in the mirror, we wanted to be liked! Our new strategy became obvious, as small businesses help eachother out first, if your team grows beyond 12 data scientists (first of all, congrats!) then hopefully we helped you along the way and you don't mind paying for all of the proven value you know we have.
Product Updates Big and Small
We're developers like you, so sometimes it's the little changes that make us go "nice, it's like they actually use the software" (fun fact, we do!). So here are some of the improvements made in the past 3 weeks:
GitNotebooks is more mobile friendly, so you can do code review from your phone on the train
Added option to view context around a diff, you can now choose the number of cells to view
Markdown comments are now more obvious where they will be placed and visually clearer!
Additionally, we have added a feature allowing you to snap back to the 🔝 of the pull request.
The whole product is faster and more responsive!
Thanks for reading this weeks update,
